Your House in Amanda’s Quirky Style
Since discovering my ability to capture the essence of a house and paint it in my own unique style, I have been commissioned by several friends, strangers and recently by a local hotel.
I work from a multitude of photographs, creating a completely unique work of art.
Each commission is totally different to the last, depending on the character of the house and the owners.
Chestnut Cottage consisted of three quite separate but essential features : the lovely Kentish style house, a swimming pool teeming with children, and a delicious dovecote style garden shed. Other less inviting aspects of the house were excluded to create this magical, fairy-like quality.

The owners of Casa Jasmin have more than 60 birds, 30 cats and 10 dogs, with a garden to die for that is chaotically colourful and spread around all manner of nooks and crannies .. the painting captures the chaotic essence of the property while being absolutely true to the detail of the house.
Brazos Abiertos has been to date my most ambitious commission – a huge painting measuring one metre by half a metre and taking more than 100 hours to create. Working from some 80 photographs, I captured the heart of this stunning country house hotel in rural Andalucia – and was honoured to have the painting unveiled by our local Mayoress!
